The race was characterized by a very high pace from the outset, with the riders tackling a 12.85 km circuit 14 times on the streets of Cremona, totalling 180 km. Thanks to great teamwork, the rider from Brescia managed to maintain a very good position in the frantic final minutes, taking this beautiful victory with a masterful sprint.

"Winning is an indescribable emotion - Mareczko declared upon arriving in Cremona - It's been a while since my last victory, but I knew I could perform well in this race and had a great opportunity. The circuit, although flat, was far from straightforward, with numerous cornersmaking the peloton nervous, especially in the final stages. Nevertheless, thanks to the precious help of the team, I managed to maintain a good position throughout the race, saving energy for the final sprint, which allowed me to achieve this beautiful victory."
