The corratec E-Power Trekking 28 PX7 Coaster Wave is designed for riders who specifically want a coaster brake on an e-trekking bike. The low Wave aluminium frame makes access easier, while the Bosch Performance Line PX Smart System and 720 Wh battery provide support for commuting and longer tours. The Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub in Coaster configuration combines straightforward gear selection with a back-pedal brake; hydraulic disc brakes complement the braking system. 80 mm of suspension travel and 55 mm Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres increase comfort on rougher roads. The MIK-HD luggage rack and Herrmans MR4 light strengthen everyday practicality. The clear difference from the PX7 Wave is the Coaster hub – for users who want to combine familiar back-pedal braking with modern electric assistance.
