Timișoara is our "second home" since the opening of our new production location last year and we are very excited that the city can now proudly hold the title "European Capital of Culture" in 2023.
corratec is the official sponsor of Timisoara as the European Capital of Culture 2023 and will support its endeavours to present the history, culture and diversity during the during the varied programme and event schedule.
The distinction as a capital of culture recognises the great quality of the Timișoara's management and marketing, positive image and participtaion of the citizens. The awareness and touristic interest following this title will enable Timișoara to unleash its full potential in social, cultural and economic aspects - and it was important for us at corratec to be a part of it. After all, the objective of this initivative, first started by Greek Minister of Culture Melina Mercouri in 1985, is to connect people, cities and countries all over Europe and sustainably strengthen the location and its surroundings.
We are delighted about the prospect that more people will get to know this great city and develop the same enthusiasm for the country and its people as we have since Timișoara has become an important part of our company's history!
