What a sprint! Nicolas dalla Valle wins the stage in Tour of Hainan

Team corratec celebrates the fourth victory this season with Nicolas Dalla Valle almost three months after the last one.

The team directed by Francesco Frassi is performing well at the Tour of Hainan. Nicolas Dalla Valle, who came second in the first stage, was able to raise his arms to the sky, after beating Julien Trarieux and George Jackson in today's sprint. The stage, 147 km long and with three GPM to face, saw Team corratec on the attack with both Davide Baldaccini and Lorenzo Quartucci. The latter were caught with 1 km to go by the peloton.

"It's a great emotion to raise my arms to the sky for the first time in this jersey," said Nicolas Dalla Valle after the finish. "In the first stage I came close to the win and I was sure that I would take some great results in the next few days. As a team, we tried to overturn the general classification and we came close to that. Tomorrow we'll certainly give it everything we've got to bring home our goals. I would like to thank my teammates, today they did an amazing job leading me to the final 200 metres."

In the general classification, Oscar Sevilla keeps the leader's jersey. Valerio Conti is still in 5th place with one stage to go.
