Again our team was able to deliver an outstanding performance in the second race. Even the heavy rain could not affect Dusan Rajovics performance and won confidently the second stage of the Vuelta al Tachira in Venezuela!
Plagued by heavy rain the stage was shortened by 18km and, similar to the first race, had a group of eight riders who broke away from the main field at the front as a seperate pack. It wasn't until the last kilometer that the peloton was able to catch up with the group.
After the first race this is a day to celebrate for Team corratec. We were able to secure two places in the top 5, the first place, won by Dusan Rajovic and the fourth place with another rider from the team HG Corratec with their top cyclist Ricky Morales. An incredible performance by the entire Team corratec. Dusan Rajovic managed to keep Johan Colon behind him the whole race, closely followed by the rest of the team.
With this spectacular victory Dusan Rajovic takes over the yellow jersey of the race.

Today's 3rd stage of Vuelta al Tachira heads straight up into the mountains with the famous Santo Domingo climb.
