Our athlete Marion Fromberger impressively secured victory at the UCI Eliminator World Cup in Aalen on Saturday - and thus takes the lead in the overall World Cup. An outstanding race, full of speed, tactics and precision with the corratec Revo Bow in front of 8,000-10,000 spectators - exactly what the Eliminator is all about. We congratulate her and the whole MTB racing team from the bottom of our hearts!

The race - exciting, tactical, precise

Steep starts and fast edges: The urban format in Aalen's city center, with jumps over the market fountain and high speed, demanded full concentration - with a long final sprint after the last obstacle.

Home advantage used: Marion, local hero and sports ambassador for Aalen, showed racing experience, technical riding confidence and strong willpower - a perfect mix for success.

Strong competition from home and abroad: racers such as Didi de Vries (NED) and Mariia Sukhopalova (UKR) were among the front runners. Nevertheless, Marion came out on top in the final sprint.

Overall standings - lead taken
With her victory in Aalen, Marion leads the overall women's standings with an impressive 300 points - ahead of Didi de Vries with 176 and Mariia Sukhopalova with 155 points. An emotional and important milestone.
