UCI Mountainbike Racingteam signs World Champion Edvin Lindh
With the signing of Swedish World Champion Edvin Lindh, the UCI Mountainbike Racingteam sets a strong signal for performance orientation, internationality, and sustainable development. The 25-year-old not only brings outstanding physical abilities, but also embodies the team’s long-term vision of fostering young talents and developing them over many years. Remarkably, only two days after signing with the UCI Mountainbike Racingteam, Edvin Lindh won the World Championship title.
For corratec as the main sponsor, this new addition marks another milestone in the team’s success story. The commitment to high performance, quality, and sustainability is reflected in every detail – from the premium corratec bikes to the targeted support of international riders.
We at corratec are delighted to welcome Edvin Lindh as a new member of the Mountainbike Racingteam and look forward to accompanying him throughout the 2026 season on his Revo Bow SL Factory.
Training kick-off with international focus
After signing the contract, Lindh already participated in the first training camps in the United Arab Emirates – followed by intensive preparations on the Canary Islands. These sessions served not only to build physical form, but also to establish joint routines and team standards.
Afterwards, the team headed to Sweden, where the riders train at temperatures below –15 degrees and in meters of snow. According to team captain Thum, these contrasting conditions promote mutual understanding and strengthen team cohesion:
“Experiencing these conditions together strengthens the team spirit. In the end, success comes from continuously optimizing yourself and your environment.”
Lindh himself describes his move to the Mountainbike Racingteam as a conscious step towards an international career:
„There are not many Swedish professional cyclists. I am proud to be one of them. Moving to an international pro team takes everything to a new level. In this environment, I want to represent my country with pride and contribute to the team’s long-term success.“
Looking ahead – the goals for 2026
With Edvin Lindh on board, the UCI Mountainbike Racingteam looks confidently toward the upcoming season. Alongside a focus on World Cup races and international competitions, the further development of each individual athlete remains paramount.
The long-term objective remains clear: success through sustainable structures, international collaboration, and technological excellence.
The World Championship title shortly after signing symbolizes this ambition perfectly – success is no coincidence, but the result of analysis, experience, and the courage to make long-term decisions.
