Gold Medalist Oliver Zeidler and corratec Kick Off the Winter Season Together

After his impressive performance at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, where he claimed gold in the single sculls, Oliver Zeidler is now looking ahead to the winter season – with top-class support from corratec.
Coming from a renowned rowing family, Oliver’s success was a proud moment for generations. Both his grandfather Hans and his father Heino – who has coached him from the very beginning – were overjoyed by his victory.
“My dad wiped tears from his eyes at the finish line,” Oliver recalls. “For my grandfather, it was a huge moment, almost 52 years after his own achievements.”

The emotional medal ceremony is something Oliver will never forget:

“I had to fight hard not to cry from pure joy.”

Now, Oliver’s focus shifts to winter training and the new possibilities offered by corratec’s high-quality bikes. “Innovation and quality are extremely important to me,” he emphasizes. “With corratec, I can fully concentrate on my performance.”
He’s especially enthusiastic about his new CCT EVO and the Allroad C1 gravel bike, which he’ll be riding with full commitment and joy around Lake Geneva.
But what happens when the weather doesn’t cooperate? For Oliver, cycling is an essential part of his training routine as a rower. “During the winter months, it’s crucial for me to maintain my endurance and prepare for the upcoming season. Cycling is the ideal solution,” he explains. “In winter, I often train on my road bike or on the indoor trainer, analyzing my performance data. Good music is a must, but I prefer focusing on watts and speed rather than movies that could distract me.”
With corratec by his side, Oliver Zeidler is well equipped for a successful winter season – ready to defend his gold medal and reach new heights in the world of rowing.
