Titouan Perrin-Ganier once again shows his top class and secures his 10th French championship title to date. Simon Gegenheimer's team-mate seemed to be able to deliver his performance almost effortlessly as required. The reigning World Champion also won in Levens against strong national competition. The course was not a classic city centre course, but ran over many meadows, which were very muddy and rutted due to continuous rain the previous week. "It always looks so easy when you're the top favourite in the rainbow jersey at the start line. But every race is a new challenge in which all participants try to beat the rainbow jersey. I am very happy that I was able to win this 10th title in my home country,’ said Perrin-Ganier about his brilliant performance. He left no doubts, attacking the competition in the first half of the race and pulling away on his own. He wanted to play it safe, and he did, throwing both arms in the air at the finish line and crossing it jubilantly.
