Homestory Simon Gegenheimer

The current edition of the german magazine "Aktiv in den Alpen" includes a report with interesting insides about the life, home and passion of the current german champion and Pro rider of the UCI MTB Racingteam, Simon Gegenheimer.

The Pro Rider Simon Gegenheimer living in the german destination Aalen, the home base of his teammate and manager Steffen Thum. The reason why he has choosen this base is that he is close to his friend and Partner in order to improve the performance both on sport and business level. Furthermore it contains authumn single trails and all kind of different climbs. The guy with the moustache loves strong italian espresso and an easy lifestyle rather than luxurious glamour. In the past th 30 year old rider won several worldcups and therefore the goal for the upcoming season is to win at least one Eliminator Worldcup. Additionaly he wants to defend his german champion jersey. Huge aims that needs 100% perfection in all terms. Therefore Simon tests the all the parts and the bikes in a great extent during his training rides in order to guarantee the best possible functionality for crucial competitions. On his training Simon is using the current Race Fully Revolution iLink SL Factory. During his last race Simon emphasized the outstanding funcionality of the Inside Link Technology which is the centerpart of the new Race Fully. "Especially the demanding conditions at the Riva Bike Marathon strenghtend the advantages of the Inside Link Rear Angle and contributed to overwhelming traction, both up- and downhill, that has turned out as a huge benefit in comparison to all other competitors." said Simon after the race.
