Team corratec showed a terrific team performance at the extreme variant with 232 kilometers and 5000 meters of altitude, the Dolomite round trip and took the first two places on the podium by Bernd Hornetz and Stefan Oettl. Bernd Hornetz, started on his carbon race, CCT Evo, his victory race at kilometer 70 with an attack at the Plöckenpass. His former companions, including his team-mates, could not close the gap on the remaining 160 kilometers. On the contrary, the lead of the Ötztal champion grew steadily and he had a 9-minute gap over the course of the race, including a new track record. Stefan Oettl also showed a tremendous ride and rewarded himself with a sensational second place. The entire team revealed its incredible strength in long and heavy marathons as 3 riders rode to the top 5 in the overall classification, Michael Markolf reached the 5th place. The other members Bart Bury, Wolfgang Hofmann and Martin Reisner completed the top result with the places 14, 18 and 19. Also on the short distance the team was represented with rider from the Philippines, Tomas Mojares. Tomas also showed a great performance and came as 32nd of over 800 started riders to the finish line.
